Beverly Ann Suess was born and raised in California, where she married Robert M. Barton and raised a family. Her father had originally been from Texas, and her mother from Illinois, both of whom moved to California when they were young. Four generations back, Beverly’s ancestors (those I know of) were mostly born in the U.S. (Texas, California, Ohio, Tennessee, North Carolina, Illinois, Mississippi, Pennsylvania) and also Germany (where her paternal great grandparents came from).
